I think that kind of reaction is very important, and when it happens, you should listen to it! I still remember a guy i got an instant crush on from walking behind him on the street, I kept up with him for a few blocks until he turned in a different direction. Keep your eyes peeled for this guy again (and if you see him, GO FOR IT!) or maybe you can befriend some folks in that building and hang out on the stoop and eventually meet him. Good luck!..

I think waiting by your window for a man who didn't even see you back is a little crazy. But, I guess you could always write one of those "missed connection" ads in craigslist or your local alt weekly. When I was in Turkey, I saw a really beautiful boy. And he kept smiling at me and waving at me. But I was with my family and we were leaving the restaurant. And then this little boy chased me down, and he kept trying to give me a piece of paper. He held up the piece of paper and kept trying to give it to me. It wasn't until my flight was taking off in Belgium did I put it together that the guy had given the little boy his phone number to give to me. But, I'm not into LDR's, especially with guys who I don't speak my language. But, he was beautiful. And there was something about him that drew me to him even though we never met. But, I'm not flying back to Turkey to see him...

Oh, this is so long ago, but yes, I did have that happen to me once. I think of it as a fond memory, not a missed chance so much. ..
..
Anyway, once I was driving one way and a guy passed me going the other way. It was surreal, like slow motion. He was driving this old beat up farmer pickup and wearing a white button up shirt and cowboy hat. I grew up in the country and have a real thing for country boys but it real life he might have been too much of a caricature for me. Still, something about him just sucked me in. I stared at him the whole time he passed, remember how I said it was like slow motion? Our eyes locked and everything. At the very last second he waved. I wasn't very subtle about my attraction. My mouth was probably hanging open, catching flies.....
..
There was just something about him. But now I am happily married. This guy could have been a jerk and a puppy hater for all I know. But for those 30 seconds I was hooked...

Aha. I've had plenty of those. Sometimes you become attracted to someone because you've got to know them for awhile. Sometimes there's just this one person whose features you are just drawn towards...
I like this guy at the moment and I've liked him for awhile. I've never talked to him but, physically, everything about him is intriguing. My friend can't understand why I like him ("You don't know him. Why do you like him so much?") and neither can I...
