i have a ginormous crush on this guy who lives in the same apt building as i...show more
do. i do not know his name or what apt he lives in or, really anything about him. all i know is that he is drop dead gorgeous and i have never seen him with a girl. we only run in to one another at the mailboxes or waiting for the elevator maybe once a week. when we do we chat and flirt a bit, but i do not know how to progress from here! I find myself loitering at the lobby mailboxes and near the elevator, kind of waiting for him, but so far that plan hasn't worked. help! how do i either find out more about him, or contrive some way to see him more often so we can develop a friendship?..

Awhile ago (actually a couple of years ago!) a stock clerk at the supermarket...show more
started chatting me up...I was friendly enough back but not super encouraging (honestly part of me was thinking possible stalker)...Now I've realized, hey, he's cute and actually really nice...Recently he asked me what I did -- I'm a Ph.D scientist. Now whenever I see him, he never makes eye contact even when I say hi, he calls me by the wrong name, and seemingly can't even get a coherent sentence out!..This is just weird -- he's actually kind of a flirt with some of the other customers as a friend of mine knows first hand -- BUT interestingly even when he could talk to me he never "flirted" with me...His behavior to me now is so diametrically opposed to how he is with others and his friendliness earlier...I was pretty offended at first wondering what I did...Thinking back over it, it seems like it started after the conversation about my job...How do guys' minds work?..Is it that he thinks I'm a boring scientist?..Should I just take the initiative and ask him to coffee, or is he signalling "leave me alone"?..Vote:

So, I'm attracted to this guy, right? He's a stand-up nice guy, shares...show more
quite a few things in common with me, we get along great, and he's fairly fit and attractive to boot...There's only one tiny problem...he's 18 and I'm 23...I know he's technically legal to date, but the thing about it is...I met him when he was a student in a group I was teaching at church...I already know the dangers of this situation, and I want to wait until he's no longer considered a youth student before I become fairly obvious (if, at all) about my feelings toward him...I've been told to wait till he's 19, or even 20...I want to...I'm never one to make the first move. No one knows of this attraction, except my sister who keeps me accountable...Still, it gets frustrating at times...I guess my question is, am I such a freak for feeling this way?..Is it ok to want to eventually pursue something with this guy?..Vote:

It seems like my gf values security and family a lot, and would stay with me...show more
if I were making quite a lot of money (in her opinion). She's not in love with me though. If I made more money, would that make her more likely to love me, since I'm fulfilling her desire for security and the ability to easily support a family? Or is she thinking something more along the lines of a business transaction?..

I'm in the early stages of a relationship, and my girlfriend (?) is having...show more
serious difficulties genuinely committing to it. She says it's because of the very intense previous relationships/breakups that she's had. Her feelings about our relationship really change on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis, and I'm afraid I'm approaching my own emotional limits in this regard.....To make things even more complicated and perplexing, she was the one who asked me out in the first place, and who generally initiated new levels of intimacy up to this point.......I know it's never a good idea to set an ultimatum, but if I told her straight out how I feel that's pretty much what I would be doing. Any advice?..

I think this question will appear twice, something happened to the website it...show more
asked me to login again after submitting then it showed "30 something female" on my question!!!..I have a friend, I used to see her once a week, she is 18 and I am 25, we weren't...hide more..close friends but one day she talked to me about her ex-bf and how much she loved him and how she flirted with another guy (2 times-the same guy), her ex broke up with her, she stayed alone for several weeks (she doesn't have many friends, she lived abroad for a long time), I felt that she need someone to talk to, I was very open and kind with her, we didn't plan to have a relationship, we both agreed that she must have a break to start fresh, later on, every thing changed, we kissed after 6 days! (she started...) then she took me to her place and we played around (but no sex), she asked me to stay for the night but I didn't , next day we did the same (in the morning), she was very close to me, we kissed in every corner on the street or wherever we were, suddenly, and without any apparent reason, she decided to be only (close) friends again!!! I thought it would be easy.. it wasn't, I told her how I feel (with weak tone) and nothing changed her mind, the question is: shall I continue the friendship or discontinue? if yes, how should I treat her?..PS: sorry for telling this long story with poor English. thanks in advance for your contributions.....Vote:
