Dating Questions
from anonymous2 answersHi all, new here but I have a question. There's a girl I am interested in...show more
dating, but I am a little embarrassed about the fact that I still live with my parents. I am in college, and only work part-time, and I just can't afford to have my own place (as well as maintain a car, have a social life etc.). So I guess I'm anxious to see what the women on here think:..would this be a deal-breaker for you? Or would it be acceptable, esp since I am still in school and young (21)? And then, another question too: should I bring this up right away to "clear" it or wait until things progress with the relationship before mentioning it? Thank you for any help or advice you can give me...
from anonymous2 answersOne of my goals for the new year is to meet someone and develop a relationship...show more
with them, and I am thinking about starting the process on the internet (through a dating website). But my parents and other family members are VERY old fashioned and I don't think they will understand or approve. They don't go online and they think that it's just perverts and pedophiles (like on dateline or other shows they see about people meeting people on line and killing them or stalking them or whatever). Is there any way I can convince them that this is now an acceptable way to meet people and date, and that I'm not going to end up on the 6 o'clock news?..
from anonymous2 answersAre there any good love advice books (akin to the Rules or that other one someone...show more
asked about) that are directed toward men? I'm kind of a dunce when it comes to dating and keeping love, and I'd probably benefit from a simple plan to follow in order to find a girlfriend. Anyone know of something like that?..

girls really never make the first move?..Is there ever a reason that a guy won't ask you out, even when he seems to be paying you unusual attention??..
from anonymous5 answersSo I just started dating this guy who's the total package: he's funny,...show more
he's smart, he's got a good job, we have amazing chemistry, he really seems to "get" me. I'm just about head over heels in love with him. So what's the problem you ask? My dog hates him. Everytime the guy comes over, my dog growls and bares his teeth and acts like he's an intruder. I know they say that dogs are great judges of character, but I just can't see why mine would have such a problem with this guy when I like him so much. What can I do? Should I just ignore the dog, or do you think there is something he sees that I don't?..
from anonymous2 answersI broke up with my boyfriend a few weeks ago and I am regretting it. I wanted...show more
to see other people, but now that I've started dating other people they all seem like losers in comparison to my ex. I know he was pretty heartbroken when I left him, and would probably take me back in a heartbeat, but I don't know if I should try to reunite or not. Hard to tell whether or not I am just missing it because it's gone, or because we're really meant to be together? What do you think? Is there any way to tell whether my regret is genuine or whether I am just feeling lonely and nostalgic?..
from anonymous3 answersWhat am I doing wrong? I have been registered and active on a dating website...show more
for about four months now. I've met a bunch of women, gone on many dates, and still, nothing. either she doesn't like me, or I don't like her, or we don't like each other. It just seems like the law of averages would stat that at this point, I'd have met someone that I liked enough, and who liked me enough, for us to at least have had a second date. Most of the women who the site hooks me up with aren't even compatible that we get to the point of having a date. Should I try another site? Maybe one of those ones where they intervew you more thoroughly? Any ideas?..
