close friends but one day she talked to me about her ex-bf and how much she loved him and how she flirted with another guy (2 times-the same guy), her ex broke up with her, she stayed alone for several weeks (she doesn't have many friends, she lived abroad for a long time), I felt that she need someone to talk to, I was very open and kind with her, we didn't plan to have a relationship, we both agreed that she must have a break to start fresh, later on, every thing changed, we kissed after 6 days! (she started...) then she took me to her place and we played around (but no sex), she asked me to stay for the night but I didn't , next day we did the same (in the morning), she was very close to me, we kissed in every corner on the street or wherever we were, suddenly, and without any apparent reason, she decided to be only (close) friends again!!! I thought it would be easy.. it wasn't, I told her how I feel (with weak tone) and nothing changed her mind, the question is: shall I continue the friendship or discontinue? if yes, how should I treat her?..PS: sorry for telling this long story with poor English. thanks in advance for your contributions...Vote:

really uncomfortable marrying him or even dating him anymore - he had been in jail for assault on a girlfriend years ago, and I didn't find this out until just a few weeks ago. anyway, that's nto the question, I feel like I did the right thing. The question is, do I have to give him back my ring and the other jewelry gifts that he's given me? He hasn't asked, but I am afraid that he will. Part of me thinks that i should give it back b/c I broke things off (and it was an engagement ring, after all) but the other part of me thinks that he gave that to me freely as a gift, so it's mine to keep. what do you all think?..Vote:

around 10 months now, we had dated back in high school for about the same amount of time and she broke up with me. But later we got back together sort of randomly when she began emailing me, then it culminated when I came in town and she confessed how sorry she was and that she wanted me back. So ten months later, and whenever I see her, she'll come in town and it'll be good for the first day or two days, but then we sort of deteriorate and she nags at me over small things and I try to keep my cool and most often fail at that. Is this normal? Should I keep going or break it off?..
