weddings or happy emotional times, and just thinking of my wedding next year I am afraid I'm going to be a wreck during the ceremony. Any ideas as to how to hold it together, other than just having tissues on hand and wearing waterproof makeup? a while, for fun, and would always keep a reserve of money, say $100 or $200, tucked away to gamble with. If he won it back, he'd put that aside for the next time. If he lost it, he'd save up $10 or $20 here and there to build up another reserve. I was OK with that and went with him sometimes, it was fun. But lately he's been going more than ever, and I have the feeling he's been fudging our budget in order to eke out more money to gamble w/...I asked him about it a week ago and he got very defensive, so I feel like just talking to him about the problem isn't going to work very well. Any suggestions on how I can get through to him, or find out more abotu what's happening, and/or protect my own assets so he doesnt' gamble away our whole life?..

wants to have a prenup agreement, he says because he has a lot more money and investments than me (which is true) and that he doesn't think I should get his money if we get divorced, because he earned it and I didn't. While that is technically fair, it seems really mean and stingy on his part, and ALSO it worries me because it's like he is planning on our getting divorced. It feels like he doesn't trust me, either to stay with him or to not sue the pants off him if we do end up splitting up. What should I do?..

what my life will be like after my husband dies. Now, don't get me wrong, we have a great relationship and I love him very much. Also, he's only in his 40's and in really good health, so it's not even realistic that he would die before we are both much older. But pretty often I find myself thinking about who I will be with, how it'll be to be a single mom, to be dating again, etc. Is this normal? Do other people do this? Or is it some kind of sign that I am really unhappy underneath it all and I don't even realize it?..
