computer that he normally only uses. I went to Amazon to look up a book. You know that Amazon uses "cookies" that will show examples of a very recent search near the top of the page. If you recently searched for tennis rackets, lets say, you will see several tennis rackets the next time you go to Amazon (try it - I did). Well... I went to Amazon and there were engagement rings across the page! ....Am I jumping way over into a humongous conclusion/assumption. Or do you think he's been brousing engagement rings? I mean, I'm his only girlfriend, and last week he also sort of slipped and told me his new lawyer also handles pre-nups. ....Am I being way too presumptive?..

eight years and living together for six. tasks, like I have to practiacally hold his hand and explain the whole process and where every supply for the task is located, so that it'd be easier just to do it myself (for example, hanging a load of laundry on the clothesline...It's like, duh? pretty self-explanatory?). lot of my neighbors' business. For a couple of weeks they've been going at it late at night - i say "going at it" because sometimes I can't tell if it's sex or fighting. or both. There's a lot of loud banging, thumping noises, and he'll call her all sorts of awful names (bitch, slut, whore to name some of the nicer ones) and I hear her screaming out as if in pain and crying sometimes. During the day they seem perfectly fine, and when I see them they seem friendly towards each other and everyone else in the building, like a normal couple. So I don't know whether it's an abusive relationship where the abuse usually takes place only at night,and they hide their problems really well,..or some kind of S/M relationship. If it's the former, I feel bad for the woman and I'd like to call the cops b/c it sounds like she is really being hurt. but if it's consensual...then I guess I'd butt out. Any ideas? what would you do in this situation?..
