I might be in the minority here, but being the cheater/hurter (as opposed to the cheatee/hurtee) has a slight advantage in my estimation. Possibly because I've been hurt so many times, and I've hardly ever hurt anyone. I don't relish hurting the people I love, but I also have to look out for number one. At this point in my life, except when it comes to my children, I protect my own interests above all else...

I'll take the pain....

I would rather be the one cheated on...I have made the mistake of cheating in the past, and it was probably the most hurtful thing I coudl have done to myself...It is so painful to knwo that not only are you hurting someone els,e but it hurts to knwo you are the one to bring this hurt...I would take beign cheated on any day...

It's kind of like would you rather be the dumper or the dumpee?? I think I'd prefer to be the dumpee or the cheatee, saying that I don't know..if any of my ex's have ever cheated on me, and to be honest i prefer to live in the oblivion. I don't like being the dumper or cheater, it involves hating yourself too much...

Honestly, I would rather be hurt...It hurts me more to do something that upsets someone else, than if they do something to me...I guess I am a bit of a people pleaser in that sense...But yeah, I would definitely rather be the one who gets hurt...
