Ooh, that's exciting. It could be though that you did a search for a chick lit book, or something really girly like that. Do you have any other reason to believe this? How long have you been together, how old are you, how serious is it, does he talk about your future together, all of these things might be better indicators. If you want to be surprised, though, don't overthink things...

It is very exciting to see all those things, but I woudl not try to jump to conclusions just because you do not want to get your hopes up...Like she said, you also need to factor in your ages and how logn you have been dating though...Hopefully he is though! How exciting!..

It sounds promising, but you also have to remember that sometimes it can take guys a loooong time to actually get prepared to do something like that. He could be just doing preliminary research to see if he can afford rings, or something. So I wouldn't expect him to pop the question any time soon, necessarily - if he does so much the better. But I guess I would counsel cautious optimism. good luck!..

Just because he was looking at engagement rings doesnt mean he will buy one. Does Amazon.com even sell engagement rings?? I would be a lot more excited if Tiffanys.com was coming up in his cookies. Maybe he was just curious to see how much rings cost. The thought might have crossed his mind. But until he actually proposes, I wouldn't start tying up little tulle bags of jordan almonds...

Yeah, I don't want to be projecting my own desires into this. I'm in my late 40s, he is in his mid 50s. We've been together nearly 2 years and he does make sweeping statements sometimes about things way into the future like places we'll go things we'll do...And we do get along really well and are very compatible with great relationships with each other's family members. In all honesty, I can't imagine my life without him in it. ..
..
But patient I will be. It's just nerve wracking wondering but I must put my active imagination to rest and just wait. I feel it will come...
