For once I met a cute guy in real life in a class we were both in, so I started chatting with him on facebook, and asked if he wanted to go to this art opening. He was like, "just so you know, not that I don't find you atttractive, but I have a girlfriend." So, that's fine. All of a sudden a few days later, he asked if I was going to be at another art opening. And I was like, what about the girlfriend? And he said, that's over now. So what do you think it means that he asked me to the opening? Is this a date, not a date, a wait-and-see type thing, or what?..

I think its a wait and see with a very good chance of it moving toward a more than friends type of thing...
..
The fact that he told you about his girlfriend right upfront is great -- it means he's honest and wanted you to know not to expect anything...And now that he and his girlfriend have broken up, and he's asking you out, well.... that's a pretty good sign that he's interested...
..
Just relax and see what happens...He said he's attracted to you, but since he just got our of a relationship, his head might be a mess...Or, if it wasn't that long of a relationship, or if the break up wasn't that bad, he could be ready to get into something with you...
