Here's that question

Question
Dating > from anonymous3 answers
I've become addicted to salsa dancing. I love it. Problem is my husband doesn't. I've tried to encourage him to come to a class but he refuses outright, saying it's not manly enough. He's starting to get really jealous because I go to classes twice a week and afterwards go to the club. It's so much fun. He doesn't understand that it's the dancing I love and not the men. How can I convince him to relax?..

This is something you really enjoy, which you are certainly entitled to do. He has two choices, he can join you and have some fun with you (and keep the other men at bay, since he's apparently concerned about that) or he can back off and let you enjoy it with similarly-minded folks. Tell him to swallow his jealousy and let you go and have a good time, or to give it a try himself. I think there are a couple of million Latin guys who would certainly disagreement with his assessment...

If he doesn't think the dancers are manly, then why is he jealous? You've already invited him to come with you. I don't think there's anything else you can do...

If salsa dancing is not manly, then who are all those guys salsa dancing with all those gorgeous women...I'm guessing he thinks all dancing is not manly, since salsa is not the least manly dance there is...
He should really go, since I'm sure it would excite you and make you happy... Plus, he might actually enjoy it...I bet, though, he's afraid to embarrass himself...My suggestion is to give him some private lessons...That might encourage him to go out with you...
