Hopefully sex will be like a meal you love: you might not always be in the mood for it, or necessarily want to eat that meal over and over again as your only meal, but you can have it innumerable times and still really dig it. So I don't think you should have to mix it up that that much to keep it fresh, sexual interest is something that refreshes on its own. The fact that you want to keep it interesting is a good sign. I think as long as you don't let it fall into the trap of always being the same routine,..if you make an effort to make something more special here and there (different location, different time of day, new massage oil, etc), that should do the trick...

I think what keeps sex fresh is good communications on all levels. If you can be open with each other in all the areas in your relationship - it will carry into the bedroom...

If you've been together long enough, you no longer need to have "highly unique" sex every single time. After a while, the relationship evolves, and the same-ol, same-ol sex -- punctuated by brief interludes of exciting variants -- is comfortable and familiar in a welcome sort of way, like an old squoosy cardigan sweater that makes you feel cozy...

Dear anon.. if there are UNLIMITED things to do then it never gets old, you be surprised how different hanging from a chandelier is from hanging from a shower pole. Try it sometime. You are missing an important point. What makes people like each other and want to do things together isn't their uniqueness, but how much fun each has with the other... and that my friend never gets old...
