Totally overrated. The ambiance is beautiful and romantic, but I'll take a luxury hotel on the beach any day. Give me a mattress, someplace to shower the sand off, someplace to keep the champagne cool, and a barrier against the bugs. Room service doesn't hurt either. That way I can enjoy nature the way I like best -- from afar...

I mean, it's very beautiful and I love the sea, but I don't like when sand gets places from just sitting on the beach, and imagine how much more uncorfortable it could be in other places...*shudder* Maybe if there were towels to minimise sand attack and a guarantee that no-one would be around, but otherwise no...

Well, I've never had sex on the beach (except the drink) so I can't say for sure. If I ever had the opportunity, I might give it a try. Only if the beach was secluded enough to make me feel comfortable though. I'm not one of those people that gets off on the danger of getting caught. I want to know I won't get caught!..

I think, however, that it might be more trouble than it is worth. All that sand to get in crevices you don't want it in... Plus, where I live the mosquitoes are vicious. That, with the treat of West Nile, would make it so not worth it for me unless I was in a bug-free zone...
